Moments
An exploration of memory and nostalgia, with nature and architecture as its subjects, inspired by peaceful experiences in traditional Japanese ryokans. Each piece uses a structural grid drawn from shoji doors, acting as windows into fragmented yet familiar landscapes.
Generative algorithms layer millions of lines into seasonal palettes; the works are then printed onto watercolor paper and completed by hand in dry pastel and oil pastel. Memories reconstructed, fading and re-emerging as time passes.
